Hexbound – A Demon-Hunting Adventure Across 60 Levels
There is little time to stand still in Hexbound. Upon entering a level, you must immediately navigate the terrain, check for branching paths, and prepare for groups of monsters that could appear at any moment. You play as a mage, yet the combat feels much like a classic FPS: spot the enemy, aim, and fire.
The twist lies in the magic system; guns aren't the only tools for survival.
Maps Packed with Secrets
The journey spans 60 levels across five distinct worlds. Beyond the main path, you’ll encounter locked doors, color-coded keys, and hidden areas. Some rewards are tucked away in obscure spots, so taking a slight detour is rarely a waste of time.
Keep a special eye out for walls that look different from the rest of the map.
Switch Weapons at the Right Moment
Hexbound features 38 weapon types with various upgrade paths. You can adapt your weapon loadout to the situation rather than relying on a single gun.
When swarmed by monsters, your eight elemental spells become lifesavers. Freezing enemies, retreating to create space, and then finishing them off with a powerful gun is a safe and effective strategy.
Character Progression Matters
Experience gained during levels is used to boost four core stats and unlock 12 perks. You can choose to focus on health, speed, or magical power.
Between chapters, the Workshop allows you to modify and upgrade your weapons. It is also the perfect time to review your character build before tackling more difficult areas.
